I am writing to share a specific vision: that there should be far more technical creators building large, sustainable businesses around their expertise.

Too often we poo-poo building a newsletter, a podcast or a YouTube channel as "just a side project," because things that are fun can't *also* be profitable.

But building an audience, rather than an end in itself, is the first step to building a large business.

Venture-backed businesses mostly start with an audience of 0, and therefore fail. You have the opportunity to do it differently.

This is why I started TSG: to help technical creators turn a following into a business.

Think of us as a hybrid between a talent agency and a product studio, but exclusively for technical creators (in software engineering, data, analytics and AI, because that's what I know).

I've tasted the financial + lifestyle freedom from being a technical creator myself, and I want to share that feeling.

I've also tasted the dark side of technical solopreneurship: loneliness, the feeling that only you understand what you're doing, that you have to do everything. You don't.

Our clients include successful YouTubers, newsletter publishers, and content creators who have built substantial audiences around technical topics.
